	An aquarium takes time to mature, this is a minimum of 3 weeks. Regular testing with a NITRITE test kit will ensure that NO fish are purchased before the filter is mature.
	Buy fish in small regular quantities, rather than in large volume. This allows the filter to 'catch up' with the new inhabitants of the aquarium in a short space of time.
	Feed your fish as varied a diet as is possible, not just flake food. This helps the fish to have greater vitality. Other foods include frozen, freeze dried, live etc.
	Regular maintenance is essential. We recommend that a partial water change is done on a fortnightly basis.
	Any fish found lying still on the bottom of the aquarium is a sure sign that something is wrong. Contact us on 0207 231 8063
	ALL aquariums require a filter, I explain this in the following terms "If I stuck you in a toilet, fed you every day for weeks on end and finally decided to flush the toilet, how long do you think you would stay healthy?". This is the same principal for fish. In short....GET A FILTER!!
