Habits That Will Make You Smarter
If you want to be smarter, you need to learn to develop habits that will help your mind grow.
Question Everything
Don’t assume anything or believe anything until you have questioned it. Keep your mind open, questioning and curiosity are essential to overcoming the difference between knowledge and the illusion of knowledge.
Read as Much as You Can
Reading is a huge part of developing your brain and the more you read the bigger wealth of knowledge you will have. Try and read a book every day, even if it’s just a chapter or two, and avoid celebrity gossip.
Discover What Motivates You
Find something that you are interested in and that can drive and motivate you. It is far easier to stay engaged in a topic that you are actually interested in. Ensure that whatever you are doing is stimulating your mind.

Think of New Ways to Do Old Things
When someone is innovative, it means that they believe that creativity is more important than the fear of being wrong. You’ll never figure out if there’s a more efficient way of doing something unless you show some initiative and experiment with new ideas and ways of doing things.
Remember That Every Expert Was Once a Beginner
People tend to forget that most of the people that they look up to and aspire towards, were once in the same situation as they are. Don’t take any opportunity for granted and make sure that you are always willing to try new things and learn new skills.
Make Time to Reflect
It’s so easy to get caught up in everything that’s going on around you and not take time for what’s important. Reflection is part of the learning process and you need to take a step back sometimes.
Exercise Your Body
As well as ensuring your brain is getting a lot of activity it is also important to make sure you keep your body active. Exercising will hopefully also allow you to sleep better, which will help your brain as well.

Push Yourself
You should try and push yourself into being more productive, this may be easier said than done but push yourself to do something that’s going to benefit you and your life. Always remember, there’s a difference between being busy and being productive.
Do Something That Scares You
Facing your fears makes you braver and allows you to deal with stressful or scary situations in the future. Sometimes the greatest rewards come from the scariest places. The more you push yourself the further you’ll go.
Replace TV with Learning
Instead of spending your free time binge-watching Netflix or scrolling through social media, try and learn something instead. The internet is filled with some amazing learning tools and getting into this habit could help you gain some very useful knowledge and skills.
